My friends just came out with a new cd and they used my "What Happens in the Shadows" photo for the album cover. so its pretty cool. im excited. im also thinkin about helping some professional photographers with weddings or something as an assistant. my advanced photography class is going super well and i just got some new tube extensions so i can do some macro photography so my life is pretty exciting right now. God is great and im happy he loves me.

i have lost my ability to take photos. im in a photography class and since then ive been too concerned about the technical aspect of photography to be able to get out any decent pictures. i need to find my way back to the roots of photography and just have fun with it but dang its difficult right now. i have all these projects due and specific things i have to take pictures of. thats why i havent submitted anything in almost a month. it sucks but im not going to submit anything i cant be proud of. any suggestions on how to get out of this rut would be helpful.

so i got a new camera finally and ive already submitted some work using it.
its a canon rebel xt. i have a 28-90 mm lenses and a 75-300mm telephoto lenses.
i also got a wide angle adapter and i have to say that im pretty stinkin excited about it. i know its not a super awesome camera but i think it will be able to do everything i need it to. and with my budget right now im definitely not going to complain.

so right now I've been using my dad's old minolta slr, but during the summer im goin to get a canon rebel xti. ive looked around quite a bit and that one seems like a pretty good starter to get into the dlsr group of cameras. im so stoked about not havin to pay so much to get my film developed. its seriously murdering my wallet. i wish i had my own dark room and that i knew how to develop film.
o well this summer will be amazing!

so i would write more of these if more than one person was watchin me.
